Day 1 - Rio de Janeiro
Welcome to Rio! Once you’ve arrived, we have a private transfer organized to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax or check out one of the city’s many attractions.
Day 2 - Rio de Janeiro
There are no compulsory activities for today, so it’s yours to discover Rio in your own way! We do however have a number of suggestions. You could relax on the city beaches, check out the Christ the Redeemer Statue, see Sugar Loaf or do a favela tour. Ask us for more recommendations.
Day 3 - Puerto Iguazu
You’ll be transported to the airport to take your flight to Foz do Iguaçu (please note this is not included). Once you’ve landed, you’ll be thrown straight into the action as you’ll visit the Brazilian side of the falls, which is known for its amazing panoramic views. After the visit to the park, a private transfer will take over the border and to your hotel on the Argentinean side.
Day 4 - Puerto Iguazú
We enter the Iguazú National Park for a tour of the Argentinean side of the falls. It’s here there you’ll discover the immensity of these waterfalls as you walk across secure catwalks and paths that lie next to, below and over the top of the falls. You’ll even have the opportunity to experience Iguazu Falls from the river in a small boat and even move through one of the waterfalls as the water descends from above. A guide will teach you more about the forest and its unique flora and fauna. Following this, it’s back to the hotel.
Day 5 - Puerto Iguazú
You’ll be transferred to the park to visit the Macuco Trail, which takes you through the rainforest and will show you more of its natural beauty. Expect to see wildlife along the way and unique vegetation and plant life, as well as various streams and canyons.
Day 6 - El Calafate
You’ll be taken to the local airport via private transport and take the flight to Buenos Aires, and from there on to El Calafate. After a full day of travel from the north to the south of the country, you'll arrive in El Calafate and be transported to your hotel where you can check in and take the rest of the day to relax.
Day 7 - El Calafate
Transport will be organized to take you to the Los Glaciares National Park. You’ll set off on a short boat trip before trekking towards the edge of Perito Moreno, one of the world’s biggest glaciers.
The two hour circuit that follows introduces you a fascinating icy landscape atop Perito Moreno. It’s made up of small lagoons, gullies, crevasses and plenty of ice formations with incredible blue colors. You’ll hear all about the flora and fauna in the area and the story of Perito Moreno itself.
Day 8 - El Calafate
An early start today, as you’ll be sailing around around icebergs and seeing some truly amazing natural sights along the way. You’ll journey past the western front of the Upsala glacier and then through Cristina Canal until you reach the Estancia, where you will disembark, have lunch and check out the Costumbrista museum here.
Afterwards, you’ll take to the mountainous roads in all-terrain 4x4 vehicles, travelling 9.5 km to the Continental ice shelter, where you’ll be spoilt with views of of Lake Guillermo, the Southern Patagonian Ice Shelf and the Andes. Transport will be organized to transfer you back to El Calafate.
Day 9 - Ushuaia
A private transfer is organized from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia. You’ll land, check-in at the hotel and take the afternoon free to explore. If you have the energy, we’d recommend the Beavers tour by 4x4 at 6pm.
Day 10 - Ushuaia
Today you’ll discover the natural beauty of Ushuaia. Hiking through the Tierra del Fuego National Park, you’ll see it’s lakes, mountains and forests with a guide that is eager to teach you all about this fascinating region. Rug up and make sure you have a good pair of trekking shoes with you!
In the afternoon, you’ll take a boat trip in the Beagle Channel followed by another short walk.
Day 11 - Buenos Aires
You’ll be taken to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Transport to your hotel is organized once you’ve landed. Take the afternoon free to go for a walk around the city, visit a museum or just relax!
Day 12 - Buenos Aires
In the morning, you’ll go on a responsible walking City Tour, seeing emblematic sites and taking a visit to a local street art gallery. We visit the famous Recoleta Cemetery and Palermo with its green areas, parks and squares that make it one of the most popular districts of the city. Then we move to the historical quarter to see the Plaza de Mayo and its surrounding buildings (the Cabildo, the Cathedral, the Government House). Later we pass through the old neighborhood of San Telmo to visit the gallery.
In the evening, we invite you to a traditional Tango show with a 3 course dinner at Esquina Carlos Gardel, a restaurant in the neighborhood of Abasto. Afterward, you’ll be taken but your hotel.
Day 13 - Buenos Aires
It’s the last day of your tour! Say your goodbye before being taken to the airport according to your flight schedule. Until next time.
