Why is this tour 'responsible'?

  • Nature
  • Be a local
  • Culture & Art
  • Unplugged

Running this project allows us to help to improve problems faced by the Mbyá-Guaraní community including high unemployment, illiteracy and high mortality rates. In addition, our work with the native people helps to strengthen the relationships between cultures, promoting mutual respect and understanding. This also helps visitors to the area understand the importance of caring for the environment from a new perspective. Our tour is conducted in a way that helps to preserve the forest and surrounding environment according to the Guarani legends and beliefs about “Ñande Reko” (the way of being and living).

After a few hours of exploration, you’ll have some free time before returning to the hotel in Puerto Iguazú.

We enter the Iguazú National Park for a tour of the Argentinean side of the falls. It’s here you’ll discover the immensity of these waterfalls as you walk across secure catwalks and paths that lie next to, below and over the top of the falls. You’ll even have the opportunity to experience Iguazu Falls from the river in a small boat and even move through one of the waterfalls as the water descends from above. A guide will teach you more about the forest and its unique flora and fauna. Following this, it’s back to the hotel.
