With the sky-high Martial mountain ranges to the North, the unique Beagle Channel to the south and numerous national parks nearby, it’s fair to say that Ushuaia is surrounded by natural beauty at every turn. We invite you to discover the world’s southernmost city; its native wildlife, its rich history and significance going back to the native communities, and the dream-like landscapes and scenes that can be found in the forests, mountains and coastal regions. 

Sail out to the sea and get lost in the stories and legends surrounding the great Beagle Channel, before exploring the mysterious woods and enormous lakes north-east of the city of Ushuaia. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy the traditional asado in the forest itself and visit the nearby national park, a beautiful place where the mountains, sea and fresh water rivers meet.

Day by day

Day 1 - Ushuaia

After arriving in Ushuaia, you’ll be taken on a shared service to your hotel, where a full program has been planned over the course of your stay. - Today you’ll get a sense of the region’s peaceful, untouched nature as you explore the local national park by foot.

Day 2 - Ushuaia

This Trek is ideal for those who are looking for an outdoor adventure with breathtaking views and within just a few hours away from the city. Glaciers, sceneries, mountains and the Fuegian magic will be available in this Trekking. We offer in this excursion the possibility of walking on a glacier with crampons. Starting the way only a few minutes away from the city. The objective of this excursion is to feel the essence of being standing on a glacier, watching from a unique point of view not only Ushuaia city and its bay but also the Beagle Channel, Bridges Islands and even the neighbour town ‹Puerto Williams› in Navarino Island, Chile.

Day 3 - Ushuaia

Today is all about discovering the untouched natural landscape of these parts and learn about the history. After breakfast, you’ll head off on a Land Rover Defender for a day of adventure and fun! Traveling north on Ruta Nacional N°3, you’ll make your way past various points of interests - including famous ski resorts – before crossing Cordillera de los Andes and strapping yourself in for an exhilarating 4x4 adventure. Moving through the forest at high speeds, you’ll pass by the beautiful natural sights including lakes, rivers and mountains, before stopping on the shore of Lago Fagnano. From here you’ll continue on foot through the forest to Lago Escondido, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Argentine Asado, along with great wine of course. You’ll chat to the local guides and get a sense of what makes this region so unique in terms of its nature and history. After lunch, you’ll have the chance to board canoes and cruise around Lago Escondido, before heading back the way you came.

Day 4 - Ushuaia

A trek into a unique and marvelous place in Tierra del Fuego, magic of colors… from the green of the forest, to the reddish of the peat moss and the unique esmeralda color of the lagoon. The trek will take around 2 hours (one way), we will go through Peat moss valleys and beaver dumps. The Lagoon and its surroundings make this place singular. Once in the Lake we will stop to observe its beauty and peculiar color. We will enjoy our lunch box and feel the peace this place offers us. - it’s time to say goodbye to the Ushuaia and head to the airport for your flight.

Legal

Accommodation Categories

Basic: Rooms include the minimum needed to have a nice stay - a bed and a private bathroom. They are basic but nice and clean. All the tours included in the experiences are group tours.
Comfort: Accommodation normally takes place in 3* or 3* plus hotels. Rooms have some charm and most of them include TV. Some tours are private or semi private.
Superior: Hotels are local boutique 4* or 5*. They have a local appeal and they are an experience on themselves. Tours and transfers can be for groups, private or semi private according to what mentioned in the included services section.

Methods of Payment

Cash, wire transfer or credit card payments through paypal are accepted. There is a 5,4% surcharge for credit card payments through paypal.

Price Conditions

Cancellation
In the event that the customer needs to cancel a reservation made, the amount paid shall be returned after discounting the cancellation expenses, if any. Any cancellation should be sent by written form to the following e-mail address: info@andatravel.com.ar. Any cancellation receipt and confirmation shall be sent by the same way. The expenses shall depend on the advance time by which the cancellation will be requested:
Within 15 days before the service, a 20% penalty of the total amount of the service.
5 to 15 days before the service, a 40% penalty of the total amount of the service.
Less than 5 days before the service: a 60% penalty of the total amount of the service.
Less than 2 days before the service: a 100% penalty of the total amount of the service.
Hours and trips
1. All passengers are obliged to respect all the established hours. All consequences related to its breach shall be at their own expenses.
2. In the event of regular tours, there shall be a 5-minute tolerance for the pick up, after this time, the pick-up itinerary shall be completed. In this case, the passengers shall have to go by their own means to the starting point of the tour.
3. Should the passenger not show up at the pick-up place and at the time mentioned in this document, this shall be considered as cancelled at the last minute (no show) and the total amount of the service shall be charged.
Changes 1. During our trips, different public and private sites shall be visited, the same are booked according to the scheduling, day and choice of the passengers. Access to them is subject to the decision of the authorities at the moment of the visit.
2. Once the booking has been confirmed, ANDA shall not be liable for any change or cancellation made on the passanger's own decision including flight delays of the air company, or any other transportation means.
3. ANDA reserves the right to make partial or total changes of days and/or services composing the tour due to unforseeable circumstances or in case of force majeure, before or during the implementation thereof.
4. ANDA shall have the right to cancel any tour in the event of any of the circumstances provided by Art. 24 of the Decree nr. 2182/72
5. Should the trip last more than the established terms due to fortuitous causes beyond the control of the Company or by force majeure, the expenses incurred shall be paid by the passenger.
The transport is included only in cases specifically mentioned in the corresponding item. The transport services shall be provided by the contracted transport companies. Vehicle transportation shall only be provided for the requested amount of people and/or the specific group.
Personal belongings
1. Any customer's baggage and other personal belongings are not covered by the contract journey. As for all the personal objects, these should always be kept with themselves, irrespective of the part of the vehicle where they are stored. They are carried on behalf and on the customer's risk, being the Operator not liable for any loss, theft or damage that should be incurred during the travel for any reason, including any handling during hotel/airport transfers or viceversa, if any.
2. This document does not include any traveller's possibility nor right to complain to the transport companies or their insurances companies, being the application and compliance of the trasnport companies' terms as well as the ticket the only binding agreement between the above-mentioned companies and the passenger.
