Day 1 - Buenos Aires
Welcome to the Argentine capital! You’ll be picked up from the airport and provided with private transport to your hotel. In the evening, you’ll be transported to a professional tango show with a delicious three course meal of authentic Argentine food! The combination of tango and good food is very enjoyable. Afterwards, you’ll be taken back to your hotel.
Day 2 - Buenos Aires
You’ll be picked up from your hotel and head off on a Responsible City Tour of Buenos Aires. This will allow you to experience the best of the city and its main attractions including architecture, churches, famous neighborhoods, eateries, cafes and historical points.
As well as checking out the main tourist points and learning the history, this tour is designed to give you an insight into Buenos Aires’ unique cultural and societal identity, and the day-to-day life of the local people.
After the tour has finished, the afternoon is yours to explore some more or head back to your hotel.
Day 3 - El Calafate
Eat breakfast and then check out, before heading to the airport for your flight to El Calafate. Once you've arrived, you'll be taken to the hotel.
Day 4 - El Calafate
Get ready for an amazing experience today! You'll head to “Los Glaciares” National Park (entrance fee included) to discover the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier.
Transport to the glacier and entrance to the park is included. After a short boat ride in the glacial waters, you'll head on a two hour circuit that introduces you a fascinating icy landscape you won’t soon forget: small lagoons, gullies, crevasses and plenty of ice formations with incredible blue
colors. After the trek walk, a relaxing stroll through the forest will bring you back to the main shelter.
Day 5 - El Calafate
Today you'll get to know more of the region's glaciers. Sailing through the North Arm of the Argentino Lake to reach the Upsala Canal, you’ll discover find a spectacular Icebergs Barrier. From there you will have a panoramic view of the Upsala Glacier, which is quite magnificent. Afterwards you will navigate through the Spegazzini Canal, where you will observe the Seco Glacier and Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park.
Day 6 - Puerto Iguazu
Transport is organized to take you to the airport in El Calafate to take the flight to Puerto Iguazu! Once you arrive you'll be taken to your hotel.
Day 7 - Puerto Iguazú
Today you'll cross to border to visit the Iguaçu National Park on the Brazilian side of the falls.
Here you’ll have your choice of various catwalks and panoramic points from which you’ll be able take in magnificent views of the entirety of the falls.
After a few hours of exploration, you’ll have some free time before returning to the hotel in Puerto Iguazú.
Day 8 - Puerto Iguazú
You'll enter the Iguazú National Park for a tour of the Argentinean side of the falls.
It’s here there you’ll discover the immensity of these waterfalls as you walk across secure catwalks and paths that lie next to, below and over the top of the falls.
You’ll even have the opportunity to experience Iguazu Falls from the river in a small boat and even move through one of the waterfalls as the water descends from above.
A guide will teach you more about the forest and its unique flora and fauna. Following this, it’s back to the hotel.
Day 9 - Salta
Transport is organised to take you to the airport to take the flight to Salta, in Argentina's north west. You’ll arrive in Salta and be privately transferred to your hotel. Take the afternoon to get to know this picturesque city - the MAAM Museum and San Bernardo Hill should certainly be on your list!
Day 10 - Tilcara
Enjoy your breakfast and check out of the hotel in Salta before heading for a full day at Quebrada de Humahuaca, where you’ll have the the chance to explore the town of Humahuaca and explore Hornocal Hills on a guided 4x4 tour!
Day 11 - Purmamarca
Have an early breakfast and checkout before heading to the ‘Salinas Grandes’ salt flats for a full day excursion. Stretching miles into the distance, seeing the salt flats is quite an experience and make for some amazing photography opportunities. Later, you’ll have the chance to explore Barrancas on another private 4x4 tour!
You’ll be dropped off in Purmamarca where accomodation is organized.
Day 12 - Purmamarca
Take a free day to relax and enjoy the town. Then again, if you’re up for a little adventure, the 3km walk to the Hills of Seven Colors is well worth your time - the walk there itself is also very scenic.
Day 13 - San Pedro de Atacama
You’ll have breakfast and checkout in the morning and travel to San Pedro to Atacama, a journey over the border into Chile by private transfer. Once you’ve arrived, take the time to relax and prepare yourself for a active few days in one of the world’s most fascinating deserts!
Day 14 - San Pedro de Atacama
We hope you’ve had plenty of rest, because you’ll be picked up early in the morning for a private tour. You’ll see the high plateau lakes and Atacama Salt Flats, the towns of Toconao and Socaire, the Chaxa lagoon (known for its population of flamingos), as well as the lagoons of Miñiques and Miscanti.
Day 15 - San Pedro de Atacama
You have two half day tours ahead of you!
The first is of the Tatio Geysers, a geothermal field sitting at an altitude of 4300 meters. Here you’ll enjoy breakfast while looking out on the the gassy, steamy field, with pools of water at extremely high temperatures.
The afternoon tour will be to the Valley of the Moon, a lookout point that provides breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, salt fields and the Cordillera de los Andes. Get ready for some great photo opportunities as the sun sets.
Day 16 - Uyuni
Today you begin a 3-day expedition through the Uyuni desert!
You'll check out of the hotel in San Pedro de Atacama and take a minibus north east and over the Bolivian border. Today's journey will include stops at the lagoons Laguna Blanca, Laguna Verde and Laguna Colorada, the Dali Desert and nearby hot springs, as well as the Geiser Sol de Mañana and Árbol de Piedra.
Day 17 - Uyuni
After breakfast you will visit the lagoons of altiplanicas including Honda, Chiarkota and others. The days activities also involve visiting a viewpoint of Ollague Vulcano, the salt flats of Chiguana and Uyuni (at sunset!) and Incahuasi Island
Day 18 - Villamar
After breakfast, you’ll visit the town of Colchani and also Uyuni, which has the rather famous Trains’ Cemetery, a graveyard for old locomotives. You’ll finish the day in the town of Villamar.
Day 19 - Santiago
You'll check out of your hotel in Vilamar and be transported to the border and eventually to the Calama airport to take your flight to Santiago. You'll land, head to the hotel and relax!
Day 20 - Santiago
You’ll head on a winery tour to Viña Santa Rita, a fascinating trip that will give you a good taste of the finest Chilean wine - you’ll also see the Chilean Culture heritage. Some 45 minutes away from the city of Santiago, the region is made up of beautiful natural scenery that makes the visit all the more enjoyable.
Day 21 - Santiago
This epic tour has come to an end! We trust you've enjoyed it. Say your goodbyes and head to the airport by private transfer to take your flight home.
