Day by day

Day 1 - Buenos Aires

Welcome to Argentina! Once your plane has landed, we have a private transfer organized to take you straight to your hotel. Take a rest before heading out again in the afternoon to tour the northern part of the city, which provides a visually stunning introduction to the vibrant world of urban art in Buenos Aires and its compelling history. After that you'll have free time to have a look around, ask us for recommendations on what to see!

Day 2 - Buenos Aires

Today's guided bike tour takes you around the south part of the city where you'll see some important historical sights and the places that had a huge hand in developing the culture of Buenos Aires that lives on today. You'll explore San Telmo and La Boca among other neighborhoods and appreciate how very different the city's various 'barrios' can be.

Day 3 - Puerto Iguazú

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. You'll be transported to the airport to take your flight from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú. Once you've landed, you'll head off on a jungle tour some 7km out of the main city. There are a number of activities available here including canopying, rappelling and walks into the jungle. Afterwards, you'll be taken to the hotel.

Day 4 - Puerto Iguazú

Today you'll enter the Iguazú National Park for a tour of the Argentinean side of the falls. It’s here there you’ll discover the immensity of these waterfalls as you walk across secure catwalks and paths that lie next to, below and over the top of the falls. You’ll even have the opportunity to experience Iguazu Falls from the river in a small boat and even move through one of the waterfalls as the water descends from above. (Minimum age for this activity is 12 years old). A guide will teach you more about the forest and its unique flora and fauna. Following this, it’s back to the hotel.

Day 5 - Bariloche

Check out of your hotel before being transferred to the airport to take your flight to Bariloche. There will be a connecting flight in Buenos Aires and given that you are travelling almost the entire length of the country, most of the day will be spent travelling. Once you've arrived in Bariloche, transport is organized to he you to the hotel.

Day 6 - Bariloche

You have a busy day ahead of you! After breakfast, you'll be taken to heart of the Tristeza Fjord on Nahuel Huapi, the main lake in Bariloche. You'll begin your trek, a 40 minute walk along the base of a large mountain - expect amazing views all around. Eventually you'll arrive to the Tristeza Fjord, where there is a perfect rappelling point, about 25 meters in height. It can be a little daunting but it's definitely worth giving it a shot! You'll then enjoy a great lunch (included) on Lopez Bay, after which you'll take to the lake itself via kayaks to head back the way you came. After the day's activities, transfer back to the hotel to rest up.

Day 7 - Bariloche

Make sure you have a big breakfast, because you'll certainly need your energy today. Starting from Lake Gutierrez, you'll travel by bike along the trail until you come to Casa de Piedra stream and eventually the traditional settlement of Colonia Suiza. Prepare for some of the most amazing views you'll see on this trip!

Day 8 - El Chalten

Departure in the morning to the local airport to take a flight to El Calafate. From there, transport is organized to take you to El Chalten, which is roughly 3 hours away. You'll be taken to the hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring this small mountain town.

Day 9 - El Chalten

There is nothing on the agenda for today, so spend it how you see fit! We'd recommend going on one of more of the many trekking trails that can be taken from town. Our pick for the day would be a full day trek to Laguna Torre.

Day 10 - El Chalten

You have another free day to do as you please! There are more than enough treks available to keep you busy, or you may prefer to explore this small town and take in the ambience. If you're aren't too tired, the full day Laguna de Los Tres trek is definitely worth your time! Otherwise, the half day condors see-guided trek is also fantastic.

Day 11 - El Calafate

Enjoy breakfast and check out of the hotel in El Chaten before heading out to Viedma Lake, where you'll travel by boat with a bilingual guide along the length of the amazing Viedma Glacier. You'll disembark and, with the necessary equipment, start the 2 hours ice trek around the glacier. Enjoy the spectacular views all around before returning to the port by boat. Afterwards, transport is organized to take you to El Calafate, where you'll check in at the hotel and gear up for another big day tomorrow!

Day 12 - Buenos Aires

Get ready for an amazing experience today! You'll head to “Los Glaciares” National Park (entrance fee included) to discover the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier on its walking trails. You will enjoy stunning views while going along the circuits on the north side of the glacier. Just promise us you'll remember to bring a camera along. Following this, you'll be transferred to the airport to take your flight back to Buenos Aires, where accomodation is organized.

Day 13 - Buenos Aires

The last day of the tour has arrived! Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and depending on your flight time, transfer to the international airport.
