Santiago & Valparaiso

Chile  | Santiago de Chile  |  3 Nights

Given its high elevation, Santiago is often covered by a cloudy smog, which is held inside
the valley by the tall mountains that surround it. But on clear days views of the etropolis with the Andes towering behind are quite spectacular. The city’s best views are from San Cristobal Hill, a popular place to visit with a picnic and bottle of wine.

Day 2 - Valparaiso: Wine tour with Lunch and arrival in Valparaiso

Day 1 - Santiago

Arrival to Santiago de Chile. Shared transfer to your Hotel. Bite Tour of Santiago: We organize a Bite Tour of Santiago for this day to get to know the Chilean capital by its flavors and architecture. Head to the neighborhood of La Alameda, a place that’s popular with locals due to its gorgeous architecture and blending of the old and new city. Also known as the heart and soul of Santiago, where the city starts! Through your tour discover sites like the Plaza de Armas and travel like a local with a ride on the metro and a stop at ercado Central, where you’ll find some of the freshest produce in the country. A highlight of the day is when you’ll have the chance to eat some typical Chilean dishes! Heading La Vega Central, a local market on the other side of the Mapocho River. You will be able to find just about verything you could possibly imagine for sale here. Later on, you’ll take cable car to the top of Cerro San Cristobal, from where you’ll have the best view of the city. End your tour in Bellavista neighborhood, a hipster district that’s home to restaurants and bars.

Day 2 - Valparaiso

Located fifty minutes west from Santiago, we find this precious valley with more than 20 vineyards specialized in Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. We invite you to travel this beautiful wine route where you can visit two of the most prestigious vineyards in the valley. We start by visiting Viña Casas del Bosque, with a tour through the vineyards, to continue with the visit to the winery and barrel cellar. Finally we invite you to taste a selection of 3 wonderful wines. We continue towards Viña Indomita, where after enjoying lunch, you will be welcome at the visitor center and then start touring the vineyard where you will learn about the viticultural management that takes place during the year. In addition, enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Casablanca Valley. In the modern architecture cellar, you will visit the tank room to continue with the visit to the barrel room. The tour ends with a wine tasting.

Day 3 - Valparaiso

Breakfast and meet our guide to start your tour around Valpo! Get your first view of local street art at Plaza Bismarck, with the mosaic-decorated pillars that define the park. It’s also a good spot to begin your walk, since the next stop is downhill from there! Hop aboard the famous Ascensores de Valparaiso, hillside elevators that are part of the unique identity of this UNESCO city. We’ll also have a traditional Chilean lunch in a cozy restaurant and meet local artists. On this tour, you’ll experience local life in the seaport city of Valparaiso. A city of lights and an important site of Chilean culture and traditions, you can find bohemian life and artistic expression everywhere here. Explore Valpo as it’s known to locals; from the hillsides lined with colorful houses to the streets painted with graffiti. Free afternoon
