Day 1 - Buenos Aires
Welcome to Buenos Aires! We'll welcome you at the airport and arrange transport to take you to the hotel. Once there we'll have a chat about the itinerary and what you should expect throughout the course of the romantic day ahead.
Then it's time to explore BA on a responsible walking city tour, seeing emblematic sites and taking a visit to a local street art gallery. We visit the famous Recoleta Cemetery and Palermo with its green areas, parks and squares that make it one of the most popular districts of the city. Then we move to the historical quarter to see the Plaza de Mayo and its surrounding buildings (the Cabildo, the Cathedral, the Government House). You'll also pass through the neighborhoods of La Boca and San Telmo, some of the oldest in the city.
Day 2 - Buenos Aires
You have the day free to explore the city a little more or simply relax in each other's company!
In the evening, you'll be taken to a local restaurant, where you'll enjoy a delicious three course meal of traditional food and watch a Tango show, something uniquely of Buenos Aires.
Day 3 - Puerto Iguazú
Transport is provided to take you to the airport in Buenos Aires, from where you'll take you flight to Puerto Iguazu!
Once you've landed, you'll be taken to your hotel to check in, before crossing the border to visit Iguaçu National Park on the Brazilian side of the falls. Here you’ll have your choice of various catwalks and panoramic points from which you’ll be able take in magnificent views of the entirety of the falls. After a few hours of exploration, you’ll have some free time before returning to the hotel in Puerto Iguazú.
Day 4 - Puerto Iguazú
Today you'll enter the Iguazú National Park for a tour of the Argentinean side of the falls.
It’s here that you’ll discover the immensity of these waterfalls as you walk across secure catwalks and paths that lie next to, below and over the top of the falls.
You’ll even have the opportunity to experience Iguazu Falls from the river in a small boat and even move through one of the waterfalls as the water descends from above.
A guide will teach you more about the forest and its unique flora and fauna. Following this, it’s back to the hotel.
Day 5 - El Calafate
Today you'll be making your way from the north to the south of Argentina, so you have quite a journey in front of you. After checking out of the hotel in Puerto Iguazu, you'll be taken to the airport and to take a connecting fight to Buenos Aires. Here, there'll be a short stay before taking the flight down to El Calafate.
A transfer from the airport to your hotel will be waiting for you when you land, then the night is yours to take some well earned rest!
Day 6 - El Calafate
Transport will be organized to take you to the Los Glaciares National Park. You’ll set off on a short boat trip before trekking towards the edge of Perito Moreno, one of the world’s biggest glaciers.
The two hour circuit that follows introduces you to a fascinating icy landscape as you trek atop the glacier itself, an experience that you won’t soon forget. It’s made up of small lagoons, gullies, crevasses and plenty of ice formations with incredible blue colors. You’ll hear all about the flora and fauna in the area and the story of Perito Moreno itself.
Day 7 - Buenos Aires
Early in the morning, transport will be organized to take you again to the Los Glaciares National Park (entrance fee included).
You’ll board a boat at in in the Punta Bandera Private Port, located some 47 kilmetres from El Calafate. Sailing through the North Arm of the Argentino Lake to reach the Upsala Canal, you’ll discover a spectacular Icebergs Barrier, taking in amazing views of the Upsala Glacier. As you continue along Spegazzini Canal, you'll also get up close and person with the Seco and Spegazzini glaciers. This is quite a thrilling and even magical experience, as there are only a few places like this in the world!
Afterwards, you'll be taken to the airport to take your flight back to Buenos Aires. You'll late in the evening and head to the hotel.
Day 8 - Buenos Aires
The day is yours to spend it catching up on sleep, visiting one of city's many parks or checking out the many restaurants, cafes and bars Buenos Aires has to offer.
Day 9 - Buenos Aires
You'll have the chance to get another stamp on your passports as you'll be heading across the Rio de La Plata river to the quaint Uruguayan town of Colonia.
Once you arrive, you’ll head on a walking tour of the town and explore the historical district and along the coast all the way to Real de San Carlos - which is an old abandoned bullring. It's a great place to be when the sun is setting, as you look out on the water and perhaps enjoy a wine!
In the evening, you'll head back via ferry to Buenos Aires.
Day 10 - Buenos Aires
Sadly this is the last day of your honeymoon experience in Argentina! A transfer will be organized to take you to the airport and onto your next destination, depending on the time of your flight. We hope to see you again soon!
