Day 1 - Buenos Aires
Welcome to BA! Transport to your hotel is organized once you’ve landed. Take the afternoon free to go for a walk around the city, visit a museum or just relax!
Day 2 - Buenos Aires
Today, you’ll go on a responsible walking City Tour, seeing emblematic sites and taking a visit to a local street art gallery. We visit the famous Recoleta Cemetery and Palermo with its green areas, parks and squares that make it one of the most popular districts of the city. Then we move to the historical quarter to see the Plaza de Mayo and its surrounding buildings (the Cabildo, the Cathedral, the Government House). You'll also pass through the neighborhoods of La Boca and San Telmo, some of the oldest in the city.
Day 3 - Buenos Aires
Today you’ll be heading from Buenos Aires port by ferry across the Río de la Plata to Colonia, one of the oldest towns in Uruguay. It takes around an hour each way, with brunch served on board. Once you arrive, you’ll head on a walking tour of the town and explore the historical district and along the coast all the way to Real de San Carlos - which is an old abandoned bullring.
Day 4 - Mendoza
A private transfer will be provided to take you to the local airport to take your flight from Buenos Aires – Mendoza. Once you arrive, you will be transferred the hotel and you'll have the chance to rest in the afternoon. At night, enjoy a cooking class of local food followed by dinner!
Day 5 - Mendoza
Get ready to learn what makes Mendoza such a special place!
You will be picked up and on your way to a culinary winery tour, taken by an expert guide. Visiting three beautiful boutique wineries at the Valle de Uco Region, you’ll learn all about the about the wine-making process and history of the region, while tasting some of the very best wines Mendoza has to offer and enjoy stunning views of the Andes nearby.
Each of these world-class wineries produce their own distinctive style of wine. You’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch, with wines that are specifically selected to compliment each course, and meet the people that made the Uco Valley the most important wine region in South America! Afterwards, return to hotel.
Day 6 - Mendoza
You have the day to yourself - make the most of it! There plenty to keep you busy in Mendoza whether it be exploring the city by bike or visiting Chacras de Coria (ask for details)
Day 7 - Santiago de Chile
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Mendoza airport to take your flight to Santiago.
Transport to the hotel is provider once you've landed. After which you'll begin a city tour. Through the day, you’ll get a feel for what makes Santiago such a charming, lovable city. Discover sites like the Plaza de Armas and travel like a local with a ride on the metro and a stop at Mercado Central, where you’ll find some of the freshest produce in the country.
Day 8 - Valparaiso
Today you’ll be heading from Santiago 120km across the width of Chile to the central Pacific coast. Your first stop is at Valparaiso, an unforgettable city with unique landscapes, colourful neighborhoods and beautiful old buildings. The beach is also pretty great too!
Following this, you’ll head to Viña del Mar, often referred to as the ‘Golden city’. The charming coastal town is known for its wealth, with beautiful architecture, high buildings along the bay and gorgeous palaces spotted around the city.
Return to Valparaiso, where accomodation is organised.
Day 9 - Santiago de Chile
After breakfast, you'll head back to the capital of Chile. Once you've arrived you have the day to yourself to explore some more or take it easy.
Day 10 - Santiago de Chile
Today is the last day of the tour, we trust you've enjoyed it! Say your goodbye then it's home or onto your next destination.
